This role leads the operational execution of digital identity capabilities for Walmart's Spark Driver platform, focusing on stability, scalability, and risk mitigation. It involves managing identity workflows, overseeing vendors, optimizing decision accuracy, and staying ahead of emerging threats like generative AI. The role requires strong cross-functional partnerships and the piloting of new technologies to enhance platform integrity and driver experience within a regulated environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead day-to-day processes and performance for the identity ecosystem (e.g., tools, technologies, AI models) to ensure stability, scalability, defensibility, and effective risk mitigation.
  2. Oversee the identity vendor portfolio, including contracts, budget management, and performance evaluation to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
  3. Improve identity decision accuracy, efficiency, and system reliability.
  4. Continually assess existing ecosystem against emerging threats (e.g. generative AI, synthetic identities, emulators, spoofing).
  5. Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, Privacy, Earnings, and Global Security & Asset Protection on strategy and compliance.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years in trust & safety, fraud, identity, risk management, or related domains.
  • 5+ years leading people and/or complex cross-functional programs.
  • Experience operating identity programs at scale with strong vendor governance (contracts, budgets, performance).
  • Track record improving decision accuracy, efficiency, and system reliability using data and KPIs.
  • Familiarity with modern identity validation approaches (risk-based decisioning, signal orchestration, digital IDs) in regulated environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business,information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 6 years’ experience inproject management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • 8 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • 3 years’ supervisory experience.
