Distributed Cloud Sales Specialist

F5 is seeking a Distributed Cloud Sales Specialist to drive adoption of their application services for cloud. This role focuses on new business development, engaging with enterprises adopting SaaS, and working with customers on multi-cloud, Kubernetes, edge compute, and IoT projects. Responsibilities include partnering with sales teams, building new customer relationships, collaborating with partners, articulating value propositions, identifying and progressing opportunities, managing sales execution, and providing customer feedback.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner closely with regional F5 sales teams in the Nordics and Benelux regions to drive understanding, awareness, demand, and pipeline for F5 Distributed Cloud within target accounts.
  2. Build and develop net‑new customer relationships focused on innovative use cases and strategic growth opportunities.
  3. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key ecosystem partners (e.g., hyperscalers and cloud solution architects) to generate joint leads.
  4. Articulate compelling value propositions for F5 Distributed Cloud and Managed Services aligned to customer outcomes.
  5. Own sales execution by managing forecasting, pipeline hygiene, quoting, and commercial negotiations to meet or exceed targets.

Skills

Required

  • Multiple years’ experience and strong record with a significant portion in IaaS, PaaS or SaaS, related sales or business development.
  • Current or very recent experience of being a Sales Specialist or Overlay Salesperson in this area.
  • Sales excellence skills and processes including pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to distil and simplify complex ideas.
  • Understanding of cloud provider technologies and their value proposition.
  • Able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Multilingual, as this role supports our local customers.

  • Proven experience and success defining strategies to exceed cloud services adoption and revenue targets.
  • Proven ability to be able to deal with ambiguity and have a start-up mentality to resolving issues.
  • Engagement with senior decision makers up to the C-level to articulate business goals and benefits.
  • Proven efficiency working across multiple business units to achieve results.
  • Track record of external communications e.g., conferences, meet-ups, online and social-media.
