What you'd actually do

  1. Develop, design, and continuously improve drivetrain product assembly processes, including assembly flow, line layout, and assembly fixtures and tooling.
  2. Provide technical support to production, analyze and resolve on-site assembly and manufacturing issues to ensure product quality and process stability.
  3. Lead the preparation and execution of PPAP activities for new drivetrain product launches, ensuring compliance with customer and quality system requirements.
  4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve assembly line efficiency, productivity, and throughput using Lean manufacturing methodologies.
  5. Identify potential safety risks in assembly operations and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve workplace safety performance.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing / assembly engineering
  • Proficient in MS Office and 2D/3D engineering design tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or UG
  • Solid knowledge of engineering drawing standards, tolerances, and GD&T
  • Familiar with mechanical assembly processes and quality management systems
  • Able to independently resolve on-site assembly technical issues
  • Solid sense of ownership with a proactive, results-driven mindset
  • Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Good communication skills in both Chinese and English

Nice to have

  • Electrification-related majors are preferred
  • Experience with intelligent/automated equipment is a plus
  • Experience in Lean manufacturing and process optimization is preferred
