Drug Product Supply Network Planner

Johnson & Johnson Johnson & Johnson · Pharma · Beerse, Antwerp, Belgium

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Drug Product Supply Network Planner to manage global clinical supply chains for innovative medicine R&D. This role involves demand forecasting, inventory management, supply planning, and global distribution of clinical supplies for API, Drug Product, and Packaged/Labeled items. The planner will develop and maintain global drug product constrained supply plans and site master production schedules, ensuring patient requirements are met, manufacturing operations are efficient, capacity constraints are resolved, and timelines are adhered to. Key responsibilities include collating demand plans, creating feasible Master Production Schedules (MPS) using capacity modeling, anticipating and communicating risks, handing over MPS to schedulers, ensuring MPS sync with the budget system, coordinating supply plan execution, and developing performance metrics.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collate all individual DP demand plans from the portfolio into one unconstrained DP supply plan and use capacity modeling to make a feasible constrained Master Production Schedule (MPS) for the Protein and Synthetics Drug Product Pilot Plants.
  2. Anticipate risks and communicate them to the appropriate groups with scenarios for resolution. If necessary, call out potential portfolio supply risks to CSC Council.
  3. Handover the feasible constrained MPS to the Detailed Scheduler and Materials Planner.
  4. Partner with key business contacts to ensure the MPS is fed into the budget system and in sync with the business plan.
  5. Coordinate and monitor the reliable execution of DP supply plans for clinical supplies.
