Production Planner and Scheduler for the E-6B aircraft maintenance program. Responsibilities include analyzing and designing production workflows, creating and managing master production schedules, resolving resource conflicts, and advising management on work status. Requires experience with project management tools, critical path analysis, and MRP/ERP systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules; integrating multiple program schedule requests into one executable schedule for production teams
  2. Resolves conflicts between competing programs for common resources
  3. Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided as needed
  4. Create, maintain and status network-based, Master Production Schedules in support of E-6B programs
  5. Use your understanding of critical path schedule network processing, driven by logic, durations and date constraints

Skills

Required

  • Planner/Scheduler related experience with an aviation background
  • Project Management Tools such as Primavera or MS Project
  • Strong problem solving and analysis skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to have

  • MRP/ERP and shop floor MES systems experience
  • experience aligning program schedules with the manufacturing/production system
  • experience with IMP/IMS schedule structure as well as schedules based on Work Breakdown Structures
  • resource loading schedules, including both labor and material
