Program Manager 2 for the E-6B Program at Northrop Grumman, responsible for overseeing maintenance and modification programs, managing cost, schedule, and technical performance, cultivating customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and leading cross-functional teams. What you'd actually do

  1. Support all aspects of managing the Program Profit and Loss (P&L) and reporting appropriately through Management chain.
  2. Cultivating customer relationships and intimacy to develop further opportunities within the customer community.
  3. Developing new business opportunities through long term strategic planning, capture planning, and development of proposals and business plans.
  4. Leading and directing cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet program cost, schedule and technical performance objectives.
  5. Development of bottoms up Estimate to Complete (ETCs) driving to Estimate at Complete (EACs)

Skills

Required

  • 12 years' experience in aviation manufacturing/product support/repair environment OR Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline related to aviation industry in a Production and/or Maintenance and Repair Operation and 8 years' experience
  • 5 years' experience as a PM or DPM with Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibility
  • Proficiency utilizing program management tools like Risk & Opportunities, Alpha contracting, Program Execution Framework, etc.
  • Experience presenting complex technical programs and concepts to senior management and customers
  • Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions
  • Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result
  • Able to prepare and analyze data and figures
  • Ability to develop and present material outside the immediate work function
  • Ability to change physical locations based upon need (including physical ability to travel)
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment with customers on-site
