Ea-18g Structures Mechanic

This role involves assembling, disassembling, and modifying aerospace vehicle structures, including composite and metal components, using schematics and blueprints. It requires experience with sheet metal assemblies and a minimum of 3 years of experience with military aircraft modification and sustainment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
  2. Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
  3. Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
  4. Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
  5. Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
