Ebeam Industrialization Engineer

This role is an Industrialization Lead for the BEV Externally Purchased Power Unit group at Ford. The responsibilities include supporting design competitions, managing milestone cadences, leading assessments and reporting, developing work plans, and acting as a point of contact for Power Unit matters. The role requires experience in program delivery, automotive experience, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. Desired abilities include knowledge of Power Unit function and controls, and familiarity with Ford-specific applications.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support Design Competitions to optimize costs and ensure program profitability
  2. Manage milestone cadence within GPDS parameters
  3. Lead milestone assessments, communication documents and reporting up to Director levels
  4. Collect and enter Integrator assessments
  5. Lead TPMT (Transmission Product Management Team) for your commodity

Skills

Required

  • Demonstrated understanding of the program delivery process or comparable development process
  • 5+ years of Automotive experience, working cross functionally to develop new technology
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to motivate both internal teams and external partners to deliver products on time, within budget, with high quality and meeting all function specs
  • Strong communication skills
  • program control skills which can drive the deliverables hardly and effectively
  • Proven problem-solving skills to address commodity issues and effectively communicate solutions and status to upper management

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Business Administration
  • Knowledge of Power Unit function and controls
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Ford-specific applications like WERS, Integrator, and FEDE
