Economic Policy Manager, Apac

Meta is seeking an experienced professional to lead public policy work on economic policy issues, especially connectivity and infrastructure policy, in the APAC region. The role involves shaping policy agendas, advising internal teams, and representing Meta externally to policymakers and stakeholders. Requires significant experience in government, politics, or regulatory agencies, with knowledge of tech policy and APAC economic issues. The role also requires demonstrated AI skill development and the ability to integrate AI tools into workflows, adhering to responsible AI practices.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work closely with the Director of Policy Strategy and Head of Economic Policy APAC to shape and ensure delivery of the regional strategies on connectivity and infrastructure policy or other economic policy issues in the region
  2. Represent Meta to external policy stakeholders at events, conferences, technical meetings with regulators, and other public fora
  3. Brief executives across Meta on the risks and opportunities emerging from the policy and political landscape in APAC
  4. Advise Meta's internal teams on connectivity and infrastructure policy or other economic policy matters to guide development of products and policies
  5. Build narratives and third party mobilisation strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams
