Salesforce is seeking an Enterprise Corporate Sales (ECS) Account Executive to manage smaller opportunities within Enterprise clients, specifically Government Departments and Agencies. The role involves exceeding sales targets, managing the entire sales process, territory identification, pipeline development, and engaging with prospects to position Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate has extensive experience selling enterprise software solutions and a proven track record of sales over-achievement.

What you'd actually do

  1. To exceed monthly / quarterly sales targets by selling Salesforce solutions into ECS accounts within an assigned within a sub set of major account/customer or vertical market.
  2. You will manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales, while expanding existing accounts.
  3. Territory/ Vertical identification and research, to formalise a go to market strategy and create qualified target accounts.
  4. Pipeline development through a combination of cold calling, email campaigns and market sector knowledge/intelligence.
  5. Create and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure over-achievement within the designated market sector(s).

Skills

Required

  • Extensive, relevant experience of selling enterprise software solutions gained within a major software vendor.
  • Successful history of net direct new business sales, with the ability to prove consistent delivery against targets.
  • Demonstrable track record of sales over achievement.
  • Credibility at all levels, including CxO.
  • Daily update of the Salesforce system with accurate customer and pipeline data.
  • Accurate monthly forecasting and revenue delivery

Nice to have

  • CRM application sales or vertical Industry sector experience would be viewed favourably.
  • Strong tenure with previous employers.
