Editorial Stylist for Shopbop, responsible for leading styling execution for on-figure and off-figure content across various channels. The role involves owning shoots end-to-end, developing strategic outfitting plans, and partnering cross-functionally to ensure styling supports brand standards and business priorities. Requires a strong understanding of fashion trends, customer insights, and the ability to translate creative direction into commercially effective storytelling in a fast-paced production environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead styling execution for assigned on-figure and off-figure editorial stories across site, email, and social platforms, translating seasonal direction into commercially effective content.
  2. Own shoots end-to-end, including pre-production strategy, on-set execution, and post-production review.
  3. Develop strategic outfitting plans that align product focus, trend relevance, and business priorities.
  4. Maintain a high bar for fit, proportion, and visual impact while styling at high volume in a fast-paced production environment.
  5. Partner cross-functionally to ensure styling decisions support inventory strategy, brand positioning, and marketing objectives.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years experience leading editorial fashion styling within ecommerce, digital marketing, or high-volume production environments.
  • Proven ability to independently lead shoots and manage styling workstreams from concept through final asset delivery.
  • Strong understanding of the Shopbop customer and deep knowledge of contemporary, designer, and emerging brands carried on site.
  • Strong operational mindset with the ability to navigate complex cross-functional workflows, anticipate roadblocks, and drive continuous process improvement. improvements.
  • Advanced understanding of fit, proportion, and trend relevance across categories.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance creative storytelling with commercial performance goals.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven production environments.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Excel.
