This role is responsible for implementing and managing Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs within Microsoft Datacenters. The EHS Campus Manager will identify risks, implement controls, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with Microsoft standards and regulations to maintain a safe and healthy working environment. This involves high-risk-activity management, emergency response planning, and conducting risk assessments and training.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serving as the primary contact for the implementation of the EHS programs for specific Microsoft Datacenters within Region.
  2. Being accountable for EHS performance metrics and implementation of annual improvement plans.
  3. Periodically inspecting, auditing, and reviewing safe work practices to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  4. Conduct workplace risk/exposure assessments for various classes of hazards.
  5. Supporting incident investigations and root cause analysis, so that corrective and preventive actions can be identified, communicated globally, and implemented.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering OR a related field, OR equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with Environmental Health and Safety regulations in a global or multi-regional environment
  • Holds a valid driving license that enables travel to and from the worksite, where required for the role.
  • Ability to reliably reach the worksite within 60 minutes to meet operational and on-call requirements.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Safety, or a related field
  • HVK (Hogere Veiligheidskunde)
  • Additional experience in Environmental Health and Safety within regulatory environments
