Electrical Design Architect

Seeking a senior electrical architect to develop and govern electrical data center design for OCI, focusing on global strategic design, product innovation, speed to market, and high reliability. Responsibilities include architecture, standards, design, delivery, operations, efficiency, cost optimization, and vendor engagement for mission-critical facilities.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop the reference architectures for MV/LV distribution globally for OCI.
  2. Establish standards for all electrical equipment: generators (turbines/reciprocating engines), switchgear, UPS topologies, and BESS integration.
  3. Provide technical leadership from concept to commissioning (L1–L5), including integrated systems testing.
  4. Drive total cost of ownership (capex/opex) reductions via optimized topologies, demand charge reduction.
  5. Lead RFIs/RFPs and technical evaluations for OEMs (switchgear, transformers, generators, BESS, relays) and EPCs.
