What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the electrical engineering design for Jump's critical HPC data center infrastructure projects, taking responsible charge for overall project delivery and technical excellence.
  2. Perform Engineer of Record duties and assume responsible charge for electrical discipline deliverables.
  3. Lead multi-discipline project teams and coordinate with mechanical, structural, and technology teams to ensure integrated system design.
  4. Perform field investigations, construction administration, and commissioning oversight.
  5. Use AI tools daily to accelerate design work, perform calculations, analyze power data, draft documentation, and improve engineering workflows.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with electrical building systems emphasis
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • EIT credential
  • 7+ years experience designing electrical systems for mission-critical facilities, data centers, or high-performance computing environments
  • Lead project engineer experience
  • Experience interacting with clients, contractors, architects, and cross-functional project teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Expert knowledge of electrical systems including medium/low voltage distribution, emergency power systems, UPS systems
