Electrical Engineer, Maneuver Dominance

Anduril Anduril · Defense · Costa Mesa, CA · Maritime & Maneuver Dominance : Maneuver Dominance Engineering : MD - EE

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company developing aerial robotic systems and C2 systems. This Electrical Engineer role focuses on core product development of portable C2 systems, including integration with ground and air vehicles. Responsibilities include rapid evaluation of engineering concepts, trade studies, design, implementation, and testing of complex electro-mechanical systems, and high-level system ownership with significant autonomy. The role requires a strong understanding of power electronics, control systems, and first principles physics, with experience in lab test equipment and schematic interpretation. Preferred qualifications include experience with aircraft subsystem layouts, thermal/electrical analysis, hands-on prototyping, and integrating electrical/mechanical subsystems onto air vehicles.

What you'd actually do

  1. Execute rapid evaluation of engineering concepts in a wide range of fields
  2. Perform trade studies and physics-based analysis of blue-sky engineering problems
  3. Design, implementation, and test of complex electro-mechanical systems
  4. High level system ownership with large levels of professional autonomy
  5. Lead design reviews, run analysis, visit vendors, define and execute hardware test plans
