Manager responsible for the electrical architecture, development, and delivery of next-generation power tools for the DePuy Synthes Orthopaedics team. This role involves leading a multidisciplinary electrical engineering team and ensuring compliance with medical device standards and regulations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the full lifecycle development of electrical hardware subsystems for Power Tool platforms, from early concept and prototyping through verification, release, and post‑market support.
  2. Own, define, and evolve the electrical system architecture for Power Tool platforms, including motor controllers, power distribution, and safety circuits.
  3. Define component‑level and system‑level electrical requirements, interfaces, and design standards aligned with clinical use, regulatory requirements and business objectives.
  4. Provide hands‑on technical leadership in schematic design, PCB layout reviews, design trade studies, and root‑cause analysis of complex system‑level issues.
  5. Lead the electrical design, integration, and verification of power tools and subsystems, including motor, controller, charger, and batteries.
