Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to join their Maneuver Dominance team. The role involves designing, building, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and cable assemblies for aerial robotic systems. The technician will work closely with engineering teams to ensure system performance and provide feedback on processes. Experience with electronics testing, schematics, and root cause analysis is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design, build, assemble, and modify complex cable and wire harness assemblies for prototype and production
  2. Troubleshoot and repair of electrical, electronics and integrated circuits to the component level
  3. Execute comprehensive test plans: set up, configure, and operate benchtop test equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, signal generators, etc.) to verify performance of PCBs and integrated electronic systems
  4. Perform precision PCB rework and assembly
  5. Provide detailed feedback to engineering team on process improvements, common issues, line layout, and work instructions

What the JD emphasized

  • 4+ years of electronics testing experience in an R&D environment
  • Familiarity with reading electrical system and component schematics
  • Familiarity with product development life cycle, reliability, and compliance testing
  • Familiarity with electronics test equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscope, function generators, data acquisition and measurement sensors
  • Strong root cause analysis skills
