This role focuses on the electrical integration of air vehicles, supporting the development and testing of avionics, embedded processing, and power systems. The job involves creating documentation, building and testing components, managing multiple projects, participating in design reviews, and conducting root cause analysis. Requires a degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, knowledge of Linux, various electrical interfaces, and troubleshooting skills. Experience with electrical harnessing and aircraft avionics is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Create support documentation to include block diagrams, ICD’s wiring interconnect diagrams throughout all phases of product development
  2. Build up and test of avionics system components through lab, ground, and flight tests
  3. Manage concurrent involvement in multiple projects at various stages
  4. Participate in design reviews and provide input to identify issues and drive design choices
  5. Conduct root cause analysis in support of vehicle integration and field operations
