What you'd actually do

  1. Lead end-to-end integration of avionics systems across aircraft and launch/recovery platforms
  2. Define avionics architecture, harnessing, and system integration documentation for avionics systems
  3. Own integration of COTS and custom hardware onto the platform - including compute, radios, sensors, actuators, and power systems
  4. Drive system-level debugging and root cause analysis across electrical, mechanical, and software domains
  5. Develop integration plans, verification strategies, and qualification test approaches to relevant standards and requirements

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems Engineering or equivalent technical degree
  • 6+ years of industry experience in avionics or complex embedded system integration
  • Proven experience integrating flight-critical or mission-critical hardware systems
  • Deep understanding of power distribution, signal integrity, grounding, EMI/EMC considerations
  • Experience with hardware/software integration and cross-functional technical leadership
  • Demonstrated ownership of systems from concept through production
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and embedded domains
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced development environments with flight schedules
