Electrical Systems Engineer, C2 Integration - Active Clearance

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer for C2 Integration. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining systems for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAS) that operate with a high degree of autonomy. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, defining requirements and architecture, ensuring reliability and scalability of software, and integrating software with hardware. The position requires significant post-grad experience in electrical, aerospace, or systems engineering, hands-on prototyping, and automated test script development. A U.S. Secret security clearance is mandatory.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead development for an end to end solution by collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and system architecture.
  2. Design, develop, and maintain system components that meet functional and performance requirements in complex system environments
  3. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability, scalability, and resilience of software applications, especially within a distributed systems context
  4. Work closely with hardware engineers and product managers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components
  5. Collaborate with the team to define and document software engineering processes and practices, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years of post-grad industry experience, including but not limited to electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or systems engineering
  • Hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and build experience
  • Experience developing automated test scrips and frameworks using a common language (eg. Python, MATLAB, etc)
  • U.S. Secret security clearance
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as needed for test planning and execution

Nice to have

  • Hands on experience with complex robotic systems
  • Familiarity with IP-Based networks
  • Experience with mission systems, including communications systems and components
  • Familiarity with aviation airworthiness considerations
