Joby Aviation is seeking an Electrical Systems Integration Technician II to fabricate complex wire harnesses, troubleshoot electrical systems, and contribute to process improvements in a production environment. The role requires 3+ years of experience in harness fabrication or related electronics manufacturing, a detail-oriented approach, and basic understanding of electronic components.

What you'd actually do

  1. Fabricate complex wire harnesses, troubleshoot intricate electrical systems, and collaborate with Engineering on process improvements
  2. Build and self-inspect complex wire harnesses; operate acceptance tests, isolate faults, and perform component-level repairs
  3. Contribute to projects and drive efficiency in a production environment
  4. Follow and document work via Google/Microsoft Suites and digital instruction platforms
  5. Maintain a clean, organized work area while performing all job functions safely, professionally, and in accordance with company standards

Skills

Required

  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent
  • 3+yrs of experience in harness fabrication or related electronics manufacturing
  • Detail-oriented
  • Basic level understanding of electronic components
  • Basic level understanding of electronics design
  • Basic level understanding of troubleshooting complex systems
  • Ability to distinguish wire colors
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to maneuver in tight spaces (bending, stooping, crawling)
