Anduril Industries is a defense technology company developing advanced military systems. This role is for an Electrical Test Engineer responsible for creating and executing test systems for avionics, embedded processing, and power systems for air vehicles and missile platforms. The role involves hands-on testing, root cause analysis, and participation in design reviews, requiring experience with test software, CAD, and electrical harnessing.

What you'd actually do

  1. Create test systems to support all phases of product development
  2. Build up and test of avionics system components through lab, ground, and flight tests
  3. Manage concurrent involvement in multiple projects at various stages
  4. Participate in design reviews and provide input to identify issues and drive design choices
  5. Conduct root cause analysis in support of vehicle integration and field operations

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • 3+ years hands on experience in using programming of test software (e.g., PXI, cDAQ, cRIO)
  • 3+ years design experience with NX CAD software for 3D modeling and drafting
  • Proficient in designing electrical harnessing for rugged commercial, industrial, aerospace, or military applications
  • Familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, MIL-STD-1553)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Nice to have

  • Experienced and familiar with aircraft avionics module vendors and avionics component suppliers in UAS programs
