Figure AI is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to develop and maintain electrical test systems for their humanoid robots. The role involves designing test fixtures, automating tests with Python, debugging electrical systems, and ensuring the performance and reliability of test infrastructure. Experience with power distribution, lab instrumentation, and scripting is required, with bonus points for HIL or robotics experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and develop electrical test systems, including schematics, wiring harnesses, PCBA interfaces, and safety interlocks.
  2. Build and maintain benchtop and rack-mounted test fixtures for subsystem and full-robot validation.
  3. Collaborate with Systems Integration and Validation teams to define test requirements and electrical coverage for bring-up and EOL workflows.
  4. Develop and execute test plans and procedures for electrical systems, focusing on power integrity, communication interfaces, and fault detection.
  5. Perform debug, diagnostics, and root cause analysis for electrical and system-level issues on test stands and prototypes.
