Electrical Validation Intern at Intel, contributing to the functional, power, performance, and electrical validation of silicon products. What you'd actually do

  1. Support functional, power, performance, and electrical validation activities across silicon products.
  2. Assisting in debugging and root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues discovered during validation.
  3. Perform data analysis for validation metrics, extracting insights to improve test coverage and product quality.
  4. Contribute to test automation, including scripting, tool enhancements, and workflow optimization.
  5. Help develop, maintain, and improve validation infrastructure and test environments, including hardware setups and software tools.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field (with at least 1 year remaining before graduation)
  • 3+ months of experience in signal integrity electronic circuit analysis and data analysis techniques
  • Advanced English level
  • Unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico

Nice to have

  • Interested in electrical analog signals and eager to learn about a variety of topics in the future of data center technology.
  • Experience with test automation, lab equipment integration, or writing validation scripts.
  • Knowledge of silicon validation, power/performance characterization, or postsilicon debug methodologies.
  • Familiarity with measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
  • Understanding of computer architecture, buses, interfaces, or systemlevel debug concepts.
  • Exposure to Linux environments, shell scripting, or hardware bringup workflows.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets using Python, Pandas, Excel, or similar tools.
  • Experience working on hardware validation, embedded systems, or electronics lab projects (academic or internship).
