This role is for an Electrician C responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment in process areas, labs, and utilities within a healthcare manufacturing facility. It requires knowledge of the National Electrical Code, electromechanical devices, troubleshooting electrical systems, and adhering to GMP procedures and safety protocols. The position involves hands-on maintenance of various electrical components and systems, documentation of work, and use of specialized test equipment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining the bulk of the electrical equipment used in the process area and labs and supporting utilities in IAPI.
  2. Responsible for conducting their daily activities in a manner that will cause no injuries to them or their co-workers.
  3. Responsible for completing all work in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) procedures.
  4. Complete all documentation associated with daily maintenance activities, including work order hard copy completion, parts ordering (pick slip generation), and post maintenance documentation (where required).

Required

  • 4 year Apprenticeship in the trade or equivalent work experience
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code

  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Basic electrical skills
  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
