This role is for an Industrial Maintenance Electrician at Boeing, responsible for installing, maintaining, and testing electrical systems and equipment in manufacturing facilities. The position involves working with various electrical components, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting.

What you'd actually do

  1. Operate, install electrical systems and perform functional testing of building and plant equipment (e.g., machines, motor controls, room re-models)
  2. Determine if system should be shut down or work must be performed with power source on
  3. Lock out, tag out, try out equipment and related systems
  4. Perform primary and secondary testing on electrical breakers during routine maintenance; replace, update and retro fit breakers
  5. Perform routine tests on high voltage switches and relays, using hi-potential test equipment (Hipot), replace switch or relay

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of experience as an Electrician or Apprentice
  • 1+ years of experience maintaining industrial equipment
  • Experience working from heights and using fall protection equipment with weight limitations
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift
  • Must be able to complete fall protection training

Nice to have

  • Electrician license (EL01 &/or EL 07) or an electrical card
  • Crane related experience
  • Experience with prime power
