What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the specification and delivery of facility and infrastructure to support Ford product programs, from simultaneous engineering through program launch for all Global sites.
  2. Leading planning and oversight of equipment installation
  3. Design of facilities and infrastructure to support manufacturing equipment
  4. Direct lead of support equipment launch and commissioning
  5. Working as part of a diverse team with process, safety, controls, Ford Land, and plant engineers as well as external engineering and installation contractors to successfully launch manufacturing systems

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or significant equivalent experience
  • Ability to coordinate activities and develop timing for building infrastructure and equipment installation across multiple organizations.
  • 3D CAD review abilities, ability to read 2D blueprints and construction drawings.

Nice to have

  • Desire to learn a diverse skill set including, air handling, contamination elimination and prevention, power distribution, foundations, etc.
  • Strong desire to deliver program management, specifically of Installation contractors.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Equipment and process troubleshooting skills, with a focus on implementing best possible resolutions for the overall enterprise.
