Electronic Component Engineer responsible for developing, improving, and troubleshooting Electronic/Electrical Hardware for engine and machine systems. This includes product requirements, analysis, simulation, component selection, schematic/layout development, and verification/validation. The role also involves sustaining engineering, obsolescence management, and coordinating embedded software development. Requires strong understanding of analog/digital hardware design, mechanical/environmental requirements, and balancing technical feasibility with business value. Focus on quality through rigorous testing and analysis.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop, improve, and troubleshoot Electronic/Electrical Hardware used in engine and machine Systems.
  2. Develop product requirements, analysis and simulation, electronic component Selection, Schematic, Layout Development, and platform verification and validation.
  3. Work on sustainment of electrical and electronic parts and systems which requires performance of complex analysis work, identification and resolution of design problems.
  4. Includes embedded software as a key delivery, so coordination of this activity with the appropriate teams is required.
  5. Solve complex technical problems with strong consideration of business context, including cost-efficiency and total cost of ownership.
