Electronic Technician 2/3-active Secret Clearance Required

Electronic Technician role supporting R&D fabrication and testing of electronic systems, including assembly of cable harnesses and rack assemblies, troubleshooting, and providing technical support to engineers. Requires an active Secret Clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Maintaining the Lab space including 5’s and tool control.
  2. Assembling and building Cable harness and Rack assemblies.
  3. Supporting development engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, and assembly of electronic systems.
  4. Conducting routine testing, troubleshooting, prototype building, and developmental engineering tasks.
  5. Performing operational tests to ensure conformance with design specifications.

Skills

Required

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience (Level 2)
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience (Level 3)
  • Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR)
  • Demonstrated experience with mechanical assemblies
  • Demonstrated experience with electrical systems
  • Demonstrated experience with fabrication

Nice to have

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficiency with CPLM and NX
  • Knowledge of schematic diagrams and other engineering documentation
