What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to capture, document, and propagate design changes into drawings and related engineering artifacts.
  2. Prepare, review, and release detailed electrical/electronic system and schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, harness layouts, and assembly fabrication drawings using CAD tools.
  3. Translate circuit designs and PCB/layout data into producible drawings with correct symbols, part callouts, tolerances, and manufacturing notes.
  4. Maintain and update engineering documentation (schematics, BOMs, revision histories, and change records) ensuring traceability and configuration control.
  5. Support integration and manufacturing by providing drawing clarifications, redlines, fabrication support, and timely revisions to address issues found in building or test.

Skills

  • STEM degree
  • 2 years of related engineering experience
  • Producing or reviewing electrical schematics, PCB drawings, wiring diagrams
  • CAD tools proficiency
  • Knowledge of drawing standards, BOM management, and configuration control

  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance OR active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
