Emea Deal Strategy & Operations Manager

LangChain is seeking a Deal Strategy & Operations Manager for their EMEA sales team. This role will focus on structuring non-standard SaaS contracts, evaluating pricing, and ensuring deals align with company policies and revenue recognition standards. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with consumption-based pricing models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the deal strategy across our EMEA sales team
  2. Quarterback non-standard deals through the contracting cycle & internal approval processes in collaboration with the appropriate cross-functional teams (Sales Leadership, Legal, Accounting, Billing, Product, etc.) to ensure that all deals align with business strategies and guidelines
  3. Master and help evolve deal policies, including contract terms, pricing & packaging, contractual requirements, etc.
  4. Partner with Account Executives on forming deals, and help translate deal structures to Order Forms for complex deals in partnership with Commercial Legal
  5. Create operational processes, process documentation, and enable Sales Teams on best practices, tools, and workflows to ensure effective deal execution
  6. Monitor and ensure that internal requests are addressed thoughtfully and with urgency
