This role is a Strategy Lead for AWS EMEA Sales, focusing on driving strategic recommendations, influencing cross-functional teams, and developing insights to inform business decisions and growth initiatives within the cloud computing sector. It involves extensive analysis, relationship building with senior leaders, and managing complex strategic projects.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive strategic recommendations for EMEA within AWS Global Sales organization, guiding investments to achieve organizational goals
  2. Develop relationships with senior leaders across organizations to gain and share strategic insights, serving as a trusted advisor on complex business decisions
  3. Manage highly complex and visible strategic initiatives. Influence cross-functional teams and leaders to drive business decisions with a focus on growth and efficient scaling of the business (e.g., data driven recommendations over sales investment and coverage models)
  4. Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, develop insights and analysis, and synthesize learnings to author proposals of strategic importance that drive change in EMEA and across AWS Global Sales
  5. Partner closely with Sales, Sales Operations and Planning teams to design/establish/improve mechanisms to monitor and review success metrics with key stakeholders
