Emerging Enterprise Account Executive

This role is for an Emerging Enterprise Account Executive at Amplitude, an AI analytics platform. The AE will focus on landing and expanding customers, owning and managing a territory, sourcing opportunities, driving evaluations, and managing complex customer relationships. Requires 3+ years of upmarket SaaS closing experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Create and close opportunities with emerging enterprise accounts. Expand relationships with current accounts.
  2. Become an expert on Amplitude's product and conduct discovery calls, customized demos, and presentations to prospective customers
  3. Effectively sell the value of Amplitude to key stakeholders within the account while navigating a complex sales cycle
  4. Collaborate well with internal resources including SDRs, Solutions Consultants, and Customer Success
  5. Meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of up market SaaS closing experience in tech (preferably Analytics, Mobile, or Business Applications)
  • Can provide examples of closing multiple six figure transactions per year
  • Managing customers with 250k+ in spend
  • Ability to tell a story using data
  • Experience running POCs and mutual close plans
  • Successful track record of being a top performer
  • Ability to work and thrive in a team setting
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Nice to have

  • Experience building a vertical/new business is preferred
