Northrop Grumman is seeking an Employee Communications Representative to support internal communications efforts within their Space Systems sector. The role involves informing and inspiring employees, executing strategic campaigns, creating various content formats (articles, videos, infographics), managing editorial calendars, drafting communications for senior leaders, developing and measuring internal communications plans, and assisting with internal events. The ideal candidate is a strategic communicator with strong writing and editing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support our efforts to inform and inspire employees as well as drive business priorities within the Space Systems sector
  2. Collaborate with a cross-functional team to execute strategic campaigns that engage demographically and geographically diverse audiences, some of whom are difficult to reach
  3. Write, draft, edit and help facilitate the design and distribution of internal materials, newsletters, employee feature stories and other engaging content
  4. Be a storyteller – conceptualize, procure and produce a diverse array of inspirational content about our people, technologies, successes and business capabilities. Content will range from articles and videos, to interviews, Q&As, infographics, and photo/caption features
  5. Represent employee communications on Space Systems Connected Storytelling team and maintain the team’s editorial calendar and content tracker
