Jane Street is seeking an Employee Compliance Specialist in Hong Kong to manage employee compliance requirements, including SFC licensing, trader registration, Personal Account Dealing Policy, and CPT programs. The role involves explaining processes, implementing improvements, and working with third-party vendors. This position is part of the Legal and Compliance team.

What you'd actually do

  1. Administering the SFC licensing process and trader registration processes with various third parties
  2. Administering the Personal Account Dealing Policy, answering queries and appropriately handling breaches
  3. Coordinating and monitoring our Continuous Professional Training (CPT) programme, including working with stakeholders to create learning content
  4. Identifying employee compliance-related policies and processes in need of improvement and designing and implementing those improvements
  5. Working with third-party vendors to maintain and improve various tools

Skills

Required

  • Undergraduate degree
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in employee compliance
  • Experience with SFC licensing requirements
  • Proactive, courteous and flexible team player

  • Excellent judgement with sensitive information
  • Motivated self-starter
