This role is for a Global Supply Manager for iPhone enclosures at Apple. The responsibilities include sourcing, manufacturing development, cost strategy, cross-functional support, build support, on-time delivery, and risk mitigation. The ideal candidate will have strong program management and supply chain management skills, with experience in multinational environments. Experience in data analysis, coding, and machine learning is a plus.

What you'd actually do

  1. Supply chain management: identification, development, and management of existing and developing Apple mechanical suppliers.
  2. Cost: development, negotiation and execution of a part and assembly cost strategy. An understanding of mechanical manufacturing techniques is important to better evaluate supplier capabilities and opportunities for Apple.
  3. Cross-functional support: with Apple's industrial design, product development and operations teams.
  4. Build Support: on site management of mechanical enclosure manufacturing partners to manage the development builds, risk mitigation and ramp.
  5. On time delivery: schedule, capacity and supply planning to meet Apple’s production demand.
