End of Line Electrical Technician

This role is for an End of Line Electrical Technician responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and validating electrical systems in autonomous surface vessels before delivery to the DoD. The technician will perform final electrical checks, identify and resolve issues, and ensure systems meet quality and safety standards.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform end-of-line testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical systems for autonomous surface vessels.
  2. Conduct final electrical checks and diagnostics on wiring harnesses, circuit boards, sensors, motors, and other critical components.
  3. Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers) to assess electrical functionality.
  4. Identify and resolve electrical issues or failures by interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
  5. Collaborate with the engineering team to interpret test results and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in an electrical technician or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and schematics
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies)
  • Hands-on experience with electrical assembly, testing, and troubleshooting in complex systems
  • Familiarity with industry standards for electrical safety and compliance (e.g., IPC standards, MIL-STD)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Nice to have

  • Experience in autonomous systems or defense
  • Familiarity with embedded systems, sensors, and controllers used in autonomous vessels
  • Knowledge of software tools for electrical system testing and diagnostics
