Endpoint Engineer - Factory Systems

This role focuses on engineering and managing endpoint device systems, particularly for factory floor operations in a defense technology company. Responsibilities include architecting, deploying, and maintaining device management solutions across various platforms (Windows, Android, iOS), designing kiosk systems, optimizing MDM platforms, and ensuring security and compliance through hardening standards and CVE remediation. The role requires strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, etc.) and experience with modern configuration management techniques.

What you'd actually do

  1. Architect, deploy, and manage endpoint solutions across Windows, Android, and iOS devices at scale
  2. Design, build, and maintain kiosk systems for factory floor environments, including lockdown configurations, automated provisioning, remote management, and high-availability deployment strategies
  3. Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to deliver purpose-built endpoint solutions that meet the demands of industrial environments
  4. Administer and optimize MDM platforms (Intune, Workspace ONE, Fleet DM) to enforce configuration and security baselines
  5. Design and implement modern Windows configuration management using OMA-DM, Desired State Configuration (DSC), and cloud-native policy frameworks for large device fleets
