Eng Ii, Product Engineer

RTX RTX · Aerospace · mckinney, TX +1 · Engineering

Product Engineer role at RTX focused on developing cost reduction activities, mitigating process defects, and promoting effective design choices through statistical analysis in a manufacturing environment for RF microelectronics. Requires a STEM Bachelor's degree, 2+ years of experience, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Emphasizes Six Sigma principles and continuous improvement.

What you'd actually do

  1. You will interface with both internal and external suppliers, engineering, and program leadership personnel to develop cost reduction activities, mitigate process defects, and promote effective design choices through statistical analysis.
  2. Gain hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment with development RF Microelectronics (Fire Control AESAs, Electronic Warfare, SATCOMs, etc.)
  3. You will have the opportunity to resolve product specific design and process challenges for cutting edge RF microelectronics used in land, sea, airborne, and space applications
  4. Intimate details of the processes and equipment used to assemble hardware.
  5. Materials and process experience with an in-depth knowledge of MIL-STD-883, J-STD-001H, AS9100, RF microelectronics in a production environment.
