Salesforce is seeking an Engagement Director for their Strategic Transformation & Customer Success team. This senior leader will act as a trusted executive advisor, guiding enterprise customers through large-scale digital transformations using Salesforce solutions. The role involves bridging strategy, sales, delivery, and customer success, shaping and leading complex engagements, and driving measurable business outcomes. Responsibilities include pre-sales activities like opportunity qualification and SOW development, as well as post-sales oversight to ensure customer satisfaction and value realization. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in enterprise consulting, digital transformation, and executive stakeholder management.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, guiding enterprise customers through large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
  2. Partner with Account and Services Sales teams to lead Slack pre-sales engagement activities including: Opportunity qualification, Strategic solutioning, Scope definition, Statement of Work (SOW) development, Delivery planning and staffing strategy
  3. Provide executive oversight across complex engagements to ensure alignment between customer expectations, delivery execution, and business outcomes.
  4. Mentor and guide delivery teams, project leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders in enterprise engagement best practices.
  5. Build executive trust quickly and sustain long-term customer partnerships.
