This role is for an Engagement Manager on the AI Practice team within Workday's Professional Services organization. The role focuses on helping enterprise customers realize the value of Workday's AI products and platform through deployment and ongoing partnership. The Engagement Manager acts as a trusted AI advisor, guiding customers through AI transformation, implementing change management, educating users, and identifying AI use cases that deliver business value. The role involves managing end-to-end customer relationships, leading implementations, and collaborating with product, engineering, and sales teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own end-to-end delivery for multiple enterprise customer engagements, ensuring customers realize maximum value from Workday's AI products from deployment through the full lifecycle of the partnership
  2. Partner with customers' C-level executives on AI strategy and transformation, including developing adoption roadmaps and change management approaches
  3. Lead one or more concurrent implementations, ensuring projects are delivered within the budget and timeline outlined in the statement of work
  4. Manage timelines, risks, and cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth delivery and long-term adoption across large-scale deployments
  5. Identify retention opportunities and potential areas for expanded engagement, contributing to the growth of the customer relationship

Skills

Required

  • Demonstrable experience of leading Medium and/or Large Enterprise implementations or transformation initiatives
  • 4+ years of experience in either enterprise application implementation (Workday, Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, Cornerstone, or similar) or top-tier strategy consulting (MBB, Tier 2), venture capital, or a commercial/strategy/ops role in a startup or scale-up.
  • Experienced in relationship management
  • Demonstrated executive presence
  • Skilled in project management
  • Proficient in software implementations
