Engagement Manager, Korea Professional Services

Salesforce Korea is seeking an Engagement Manager for their Professional Services team. This role will partner with customers from the sales cycle's early stages to drive business outcomes, acting as a strategic partner beyond technical implementation. Responsibilities include pre-sales engagement, project delivery and management, customer success, and thought leadership. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in IT consulting, project management, or pre-sales, with an understanding of the Salesforce platform and strong communication skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to understand customer needs from the earliest stages of an Opportunity and propose Professional Services solutions
  2. Analyze customer business goals and technical requirements to design optimal delivery methodologies and project scope
  3. Develop Statements of Work (SOW), Project Proposals, and Effort Estimations
  4. Lead end-to-end delivery planning and execution management for Salesforce implementation projects
  5. Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and scope changes

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of experience in IT consulting, project management, or pre-sales
  • Understanding of the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud, etc.) or major enterprise solutions
  • Proven experience defining scope and writing proposals for complex enterprise projects
  • Strong executive (C-level) communication and presentation skills
  • Business-level proficiency in both Korean and English

Nice to have

  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Consultant, or Architect tracks)
  • Familiarity with the Salesforce solution portfolio including Agentforce, Slack, Tableau, and MuleSoft
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or Agile methodology certification
  • Domain expertise in key industries such as Financial Services, Manufacturing, or Public Sector
  • Experience collaborating with global teams and partner ecosystems
