LangChain is seeking an Engagement Manager for their Professional Services team to manage technical engagements for enterprise customers, ensuring successful delivery of projects and acting as the primary point of contact. This role involves full lifecycle management, customer communication, cross-functional coordination, and risk management, with a focus on helping customers build and deploy AI agents using LangChain's platform.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage the full engagement lifecycle from SOW review through closeout, including planning, execution, risk management, scope management, and handoff
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers — deliver status updates, manage expectations, handle escalations, and negotiate scope changes
  3. Manage 5–8 concurrent technical engagements simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
  4. Coordinate with Solution Architects, AI Engineers, Sales, Support, Enablement, and Product/Engineering teams; manage resource allocation and capacity planning
  5. Proactively identify risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, track resolution, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards
