Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electronics Engineer in Oklahoma City, OK, responsible for developing and executing programs related to avionics subsystems, including design, analysis, configuration, testing, and documentation. The role involves implementing engineer change notices, working with databases, collaborating with stakeholders, and developing design solutions for obsolete hardware. A Secret clearance is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Acting as Subject Matter Expert for Avionics Subsystem(s)
  2. Responsibilities include the ability to design, analyze, configure, test, document VDDs and Interface Control Documents related to the Avionics subsystems Mission Planning
  3. Implement Engineer Change Notice, Create XREF files , work with multiple databases
  4. Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to implement subsystem performance and Mission Planning requirements.
  5. Must be knowledgeable with data base and metric development.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years of related engineering experience.
  • Experience designing, configuring, and installing avionics subsystems
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP).

Nice to have

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 4 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 1 year of related engineering experience.
  • Experience designing, configuring, and installing avionics weapons subsystems
