Engineer Electronics/rf Test-1st Shift

Northrop Grumman is seeking an RF Test Engineer to design and integrate antenna test equipment, develop software for test automation and data analysis, and troubleshoot RF issues for phased array testing. The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM discipline, experience with RF test equipment and software development (C#, Visual Basic, MATLAB), and an active DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a SAP clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Antenna test equipment design in support of factory phased array testing
  2. Integrate new equipment and programs in a state-of-the-art facility
  3. Test software and test equipment design related to phased array testing
  4. Software development for automating test processes and data analysis
  5. Troubleshoot RF issues during test of advanced antenna systems

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience
  • Experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment
  • Professional software development experience using languages such as C#, Visual Basic, MATLAB
  • Current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance
  • Ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
  • U.S. citizenship

Nice to have

  • Software development experience with RF and antenna systems
  • Test development experience in a nearfield and/ or compact antenna range
  • RF test experience and/or antenna test/range experience
  • Familiarity with RF and antenna theory

What the JD emphasized
