Engineer II - Cloud Sdet (iot)

CrowdStrike is seeking an Engineer II - Cloud SDET (IOT) to develop automation frameworks, scripts, and specialized tests for their AI-native cybersecurity platform, focusing on ICS/OT and IoT verticals. The role involves ensuring end-to-end system functionality, defining test strategies, and collaborating with various teams to maintain product quality and streamline release cycles. Experience with GenAI tools and AI agent orchestration patterns is a plus.

What you'd actually do

  1. Designing, developing and supporting required effective and reusable test automation framework, scripts, tools and test setup for the development team for XIOT PG to use for developing tests effectively; the goal is to minimize manual testing and reuse frameworks that exist
  2. Identify and write tests across platforms such as majorly Windows and less Linux to ensure the quality of the system as a whole – focusing on end-to-end test/ customer scenarios inclusive of API and UI automation as it pertains to the IOT/ICS domain.
  3. Define Test strategy, methodology and develop required tooling for internal teams, third party test team, lab testing and certification process with manufacturer.
  4. Work collaboratively with the rest of the team to control risk, improve quality, and streamline XIOT product release cycles
  5. Work with customers and product management to understand end to end product use cases.
