This role is for a Manufacturing Engineer at RTX, supporting depot and production programs. Responsibilities include developing manufacturing documentation, providing production support, optimizing factory layouts, and planning tooling. Requires a STEM degree with 2+ years of experience or an advanced degree, experience with military/industry standards, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Follow established procedures and instructions while working closely with program / functional supervision to ensure overall program and site targets are met.
  2. Conduct technical and manufacturing data verifications, hardware verification, and safety/ergonomic assessments and implementations.
  3. Assist in the develop of work cell layouts to optimize product flow and factory floor space utilization.
  4. Plan for, develop, manage, and document manufacturing tooling and fixtures.
  5. Employ Lean Manufacturing techniques. Procedures, and instructions.

  • STEM degree or equivalent experience
