Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy services powered by the latest AI models to enable agent-driven workflows for F5 products, ensuring scalability and ease of use.
  • Build intelligent agents and design workflows utilizing GPT models for automation and advanced capabilities in F5 systems.
  • Maintain, optimize, and support F5’s internal AI systems, including GPT-based implementations, ensuring high availability and scalable performance.
  • Collaborate with product teams, IT departments, and vendors to integrate AI-driven agents and workflows across diverse system environments.
  • Develop observability tools, monitoring systems, and automation frameworks to enhance AI model reliability.
  • Coordinate with platform teams to improve CI/CD environments with AI-focused automation and ensure best practices.
  • Continuously explore emerging AI technologies and frameworks to integrate innovative solutions into F5 products.
  • Ensure compliance with architecture standards and security policies while addressing audit inquiries.
  • Define development lifecycle processes and workflows to streamline AI-driven application creation.
  • Provide technical leadership and establish guidelines for integrating AI technologies and agentic workflows.

Skills and Requirements

  • AI Expertise:

    • Experience with deploying and optimizing AI tools such as GPT models and integrating agentic workflows.
    • Familiarity with GPT architectures (GPT-4.x, related APIs) and reinforcement learning for intelligent systems.
    • Knowledge of AI libraries and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Hugging Face Transformers, etc.).
  • Development & Automation:

    • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, JavaScript, Go, or Shell scripting.
    • Hands-on experience with containerized architectures (Kubernetes, Docker) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
    • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation with tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
  • Data & Integration:

    • Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL, MongoDB) and API integrations (RESTful APIs).
  • Security & Governance:

    • Understanding of ethical AI principles and security best practices for AI model deployment.
    • Experience with organizational governance policies and compliance standards.
  • Observability & Scaling:

    • Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
    • Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks for scaling AI workflows (such as Apache Spark, Airflow, or Dask).
  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
    • Self-motivated with analytical problem-solving capabilities and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience; or advanced degree with AI expertise.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered conversational systems (RASA, Dialogflow, LangChain) and agent-building workflows.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes and OpenShift for container orchestration.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins) and MLOps practices for optimizing AI model lifecycle.
