This role is for an Injection Molding Engineer at Johnson & Johnson MedTech, focusing on plastic injection molding processes and mechanical assignments. What you'd actually do

  1. Plans and executes moderately complex change control projects requiring conceptual evaluation, design and validation.
  2. Plans and executes moderately complex qualification of new equipment/controls and assists in vendor and site acceptance testing to meet engineering standards.
  3. Identifies and implements standard methodologies of project management.
  4. Participates in technical design reviews for machine requirements and manufacturing/product specifications.
  5. Provides training and support to Operations Engineers and Technicians to operate, troubleshoot and maintain equipment.

Skills

Required

  • University/Bachelors Degree in Engineering
  • 2 to 4 years of proven experience

Nice to have

  • Operations experience in manufacturing, production
  • Experience working with vendors to select, source, quote, and procure off the shelf and custom designed components.
  • Experience working in an ISO and FDA regulated environment.
