What you'd actually do

  1. Experience in the design of electrical wire harness and coax cable installations including routing, supporting structure, and integration into an air vehicle.
  2. Create and modify designs in 3D environment of details, assemblies, and installations of wire harness and coax cable routings and supports
  3. Execute engineering design projects on schedule.
  4. Support assembly line installations.
  5. The candidate should also have an understanding of 3D modeling, modern file management systems, GD&T, and MRB.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM)
  • 2 years of relevant experience (Engineer level)
  • 5 years of relevant experience (Principal Engineer level)
  • Experience in military aircraft wire harness and coax cable installations and supporting structure designs using 3D solid modeling
  • Current in-scope DOD Secret Clearance

Nice to have

  • Master's Degree in STEM
  • PhD Degree
  • Experience with NX 3D modeling tools or similar systems
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interface with all levels of employees, diverse technical teams and management
